Russians strike Kharkiv region with missiles

On the morning of 2 July, Russian invaders fired missiles at the Nemyshlyanskyi District of Kharkiv Oblast; 4 civilians were injured during the day on 1 July.

Quote from Synyehubov: "The morning was particularly restless for Kharkiv residents. Around 4 a.m., the occupiers insidiously fired missiles at the Nemyshlyanskyi district. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene. Fortunately, there are no casualties".

Details: Within the oblast, Russian forces struck towns and villages in Izium, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv and Lozova districts.

During the day, the occupiers shelled the villages of Udy and Cherkaska Lozova, the village of Donets, and the towns of Derhachi and Barvinkove using missile and artillery systems. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Strips of forest were set ablaze as a result of the shelling.

In the hromada [amalgamated territorial community - ed.] of Zolochiv, the occupiers destroyed a kindergarten with artillery fire.

During the day, 4 civilians of the oblast were injured: 2 people in Izium district, 1 in Kharkiv district and 1 in Lozova district.

At this time, the most active combat operations in the oblast are taking place on the Kharkiv and Izium fronts. To the north of Kharkiv Oblast, the occupiers are fighting defensive battles and are focused on containing the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Near  Izium, the Russians tried to conduct assaults towards Bohorodychne, but suffered losses and retreated. Russian forces are also trying to improve the supply system for its troops in this area.

According to Synyehubov, the Ukrainian defenders are securely holding their positions and continue to destroy the enemy.
