Kharkiv region: Russians strike using MLRSs and helicopters - 2 dead

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck the Kharkiv region using multiple-launch rocket systems and hitting civilian infrastructure with missiles, with at least 2 people killed, 9 injured and extensive destruction recorded in the oblast.

Quote from Sinehubov: "The Industrialnyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv have been hit.
During the day, the enemy shelled the Industrialnyi district, and 5 people were admitted to hospital. Private houses, outbuildings and storage areas were damaged.
At around 23:00, the occupiers struck the Shevchenkivskyi district. An explosion blew out windows in a house, 1 woman sustained shrapnel wounds and was admitted to hospital.
After 23:00, the Russians struck again at one of the infrastructure facilities in the Slobidskyi district. A fire broke out. No casualties have been reported at this time."
Details: The Russians also shelled the Izium, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts of the oblast over the course of the day.
A boiler house, hospital, children's playground and residential buildings were damaged in Pechenihy, Chuhuiv district.
The village of Ivashky in the hromada [amalgamated territorial community - ed.] of Zolochiv was fired upon by Russians using artillery, and near the village of Yavirske an airstrike was launched from Ka-52 helicopters.
As a result of the shelling of Tsyrkuniv, Kharkiv district, 2 people were killed (men aged 29 and 36) and 1 was injured. Two people were also injured in the hromada of Derhachi.
Sinehubov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had repelled the assault and forced Russian forces to retreat in the areas of Dementiivka, Dovhalivka and Zalyman.
The head of the Oblast Military Administration stressed that the defenders held their positions, including "on the heated Izium front".
