"Evropeyska Pravda"  —  TUESDAY, 3 MAY 2022, 18:00

The so-called "Ministry of Internal Affairs" of unrecognized Transnistria claimed that they had allegedly found a Ukrainian drone with an explosive device and "had prevented an attempted terrorist attack."

This was reported by the Moldovan Newsmaker, according to "Evropeyska Pravda".

According to the statement, the drone was found near the Mayak TV and Radio Centre, which heavily guarded, on the night of 3 May. It should be noted that the tower of a powerful TV transmitter was blown up in this place last week. The relay centre is located very close to the Ukrainian border.

"Specialists investigated the location of the drone and the attached cargo. A plastic 5-litre canister with an unidentified brown liquid and a plastic box about 60 cm long and 25 cm in diameter with 2 kg of plastic explosive were attached to the aircraft. Detonators were planted in the explosive," the "Ministry of Internal Affairs" statement said.

It also says that the drone was allegedly "launched from the Ukrainian side."

Since a representative of the Russian army said that the task of Russian troops in the "second phase of the special operation" in Ukraine is to establish "full control over Donbas and southern Ukraine" in order to secure land routes to occupied Crimea and unrecognized Transnistria, terrorist attacks without casualties have taken place in the region.

The head of unrecognized Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, said that, according to preliminary data, "traces of terrorist attacks point to Ukraine."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has expressed concern over attempts to aggravate the security situation in the Transnistrian region of Moldova.
