Quote: "[...] the occupiers have shelled civilian targets located within the perimeter of Kryvyi Rih. This [happened] in the Inhulets district.
More than ten private residential buildings and an educational institution have been hit.
[…] There were no casualties resulting from the shelling because we managed to evacuate in time.
The shelling targeted exactly at the spot we had relocated people from.
The ‘orcs’ (Russian troops - ed.) fired ‘Smerch’ MLRSs (heavy multiple rocket launchers - ed.). Once again they were using cluster munitions banned by the Geneva Convention.
These munitions open above the ground, and release charges which explode and cover a significantly large area…
There were no casualties during the shelling, but there were afterwards.
This morning, two civilians - a father and a son - brought home cluster munitions (from the shelling that happened 4 days ago - ed.) in one of the villages … The munitions exploded in their home. And they died."
Details: Vilkul said that ‘Grads’ are not reaching Kryvyi Rih because the Armed Forces of Ukraine have pushed back the front line, which is no longer on the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region, but directly inside the Kherson region, and part of this region has already been liberated by Ukrainian troops.
