Kyiv region: Head of Motyzhyn and her husband found dead

After the liberation of the Kyiv region from Russian invading forces, the bodies of Motuzhyn village head Olha Sukhenko and her husband, abducted by the Russians on 23 March, have been found.

Quote: "Sad news. The bodies of Olha Sukhenko, the Head of the village of Motyzhyn, and her husband Ihor Sukhenko, who were captured by ‘orcs’ (Russians - ed.) 10 days ago, have been found. Up till now, their fate was unknown."
Background: Earlier, family relatives reported that on 23 March, Russian military personnel abducted the head of the village of Motyzhyn in the Kyiv region, Olha Sukhenko, her husband and son.
On 26 March, the Prosecutor-General's office announced that due to the abduction of the Head of the village of Motyzhyn by the Russian forces, proceedings had been instituted for violating the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
On 2 April, the Ministry of Defence announced the liberation of the entire Kyiv region from Russian invaders.
