President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the situation in Mariupol remains difficult - the aggressors are blocking any efforts to organise humanitarian corridors, deporting people and even trying to "mobilise" Ukrainians into their "troops".

Quote: "The situation in Mariupol remains unchanged - as severe as it can be. The Russian army is blocking any efforts to organise humanitarian corridors and rescue people who have fallen into their hands.
[The aggressors] are trying to deport local residents or even mobilise them into the occupation army. The fate of at the very least tens of thousands of Mariupol residents who were previously relocated to Russian-controlled territory is unknown.
Unfortunately, we haven’t had any response from Russia to the exchange offer, which could save the civilians and defenders of Mariupol."
Details: According to Zelenskyy, this silence should be noted by all who have been or may be associated with Russia: "When your fate is being decided, Moscow will be silent. [...] And this is the best reason to steer clear of the Russian Federation."
