According to Ocheretyany: "In the past 24 hours alone, the Kyiv regional police department has received more than 100 reports of the shelling of civilians.

Things are in order in the Kyiv region, the situation is stable and under control. Unfortunately it is difficult, but it is under control."

Details: He added that police in the Kyiv region continue to work in an intensified state to provide police services.

During the hostilities, the region's law enforcement agencies received more than 3,000 appeals from citizens.

Ocheretyany noted that every fact is recorded, and those guilty of crimes will be brought to justice.

He also added that the evacuation of residents has been going on continuously for 2 weeks. The biggest difficulties that arise have to do with transportation – many roads are in poor condition, and it is possible that many of them are mined.

Background: On 23 March, the National Police announced that it was renewing its work in Irpin.

Additionally, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had encircled the towns of Irpin, Bucha, and the village of Gostomel near Kyiv, while Russian forces continued to shell Irpin, Bucha, Makariv, and Dmyriv.
