Details: According to Synehubov, Northern Saltivka suffered the most damage.
The Russian troops also fired missiles at Lozova. About 20 houses, a school and a kindergarten were damaged and 8 civilians were injured. The number is being confirmed, as the rubble is still being cleared.
Synehubov noted that whereas during the first two weeks of the war Russian troops actively tried to storm Kharkiv in an attempt to enter the city, now they are terrorising Kharkiv and other towns in the region with artillery shelling.
An evacuation corridor from Izium was scheduled for Wednesday to deliver humanitarian aid, but the Russian military has not confirmed its opening and is effectively keeping the city under siege.
Russia is actively concentrating troops in this area. A battle took place at night and the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted significant losses on the enemy.
Regarding aviation, it is stated that Russian planes are circling over Kharkiv. The activity of the Russian aircraft – both helicopters and fighter jets – was focused on Izium.
Synehubov assured everyone that the authorities in Vovchansk have identified all the people who took part in the pro-Russian provocation.
According to Synehubov: "99.9% of locals are real Ukrainians, patriots. We all talk to each other - there is no question that Vovchansk is a Ukrainian city."
