Zelenskyy: More than 30 settlements liberated In Kyiv region

Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been able to liberate more than 30 settlements in the Kiev region, which were temporarily occupied by the Russian military.

Zelenskyy's direct speech: "During the defence of Kyiv, more than 30 settlements in the Kyiv region, which were temporarily occupied by the enemy, were liberated."

Details: According to the President, the commander of the Land Forces, Alexander Syrskyy, has been leading the defence of Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

Zelenskyy added that due to Syrskyy's professional and courageous actions, the Russian military suffered significant losses and was driven away from the capital.

The President noted that he had awarded Syrskyy the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, second class.

Earlier Zelensky signed a decree awarding state awards to 138 servicemen of the Armed Forces.
