The car of journalist Max Levin was hit by an Audi Q7 with the allegedly drunk Head of the Cargo Department of Ukrzaliznytsia [En: Ukrainian Railways] Ivan Fedorko behind the wheel, MP Anton Herashchenko reports on Facebook.

The accident happened on July 3, in Kyiv oblast. Levin’s car was carrying his wife and two young children. Levin’s wife and one of his sons have been hospitalized with multiple injuries.

The investigation is underway and Fedorko is wanted by the National Police. Fedorko escaped from the hospital before his alcohol levels could be tested.

Herashchenko claims that Fedorko is a ‘friend and associate’ of the notorious Head of the South Western Railways Oleksiy Kryvopyshyn who was dismissed from his position a year ago. He added that it is suspected that Fedorko gains financially by providing train cars for supplying coal from the occupied parts of Donbas.
