The Ukrainian military continues defending Kyiv and Chernihiv. In the Chernihiv region, the Russian invaders are hiding military equipment behind apartment blocks. Russian troops disguised in civilian clothes are advancing on Mykolayiv from the Kherson region.

Mykolaiv residents have within a few hours supplied the city with car tires to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces to stop the Russian invaders.

Reinforcements from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, complete with equipment, have arrived in Mykolaiv. The Forces are preparing an attack on the Russian troops, according to the Head of the Regional Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

Vitaliy Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration has announced that a Russian Kalibr cruise missile hit a military base where Ukrainian soldiers were sleeping. 

The Russian invading forces launched a missile at the Olvia Seaport near Mykolaiv.

Russian troops have entered the territory of the Mykolaiv International Airport.

Russian occupying forces in Ukraine are attempting to attack Mykolaiv, and to advance towards the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), says adviser to the President’s Chief of Staff Oleksiy Arestovych.

Russian occupying forces are deploying tanks to attack the city of Mykolayiv near the Black Sea in southern Ukraine. 

The Governor of Mykolaiv region Vitaly Kim has said that "the invader simply doesn't have the resources" to occupy Ukrainian cities.

On Saturday, the National Guard of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian armoured vehicle and captured 4 Russian intelligence personnel, including 1 officer near Mykolaiv.
