Ukraine's air defence downs 29 of 50 Russian drones

The Russians have launched an attack using an Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missile and 50 Shahed drones and UAVs of other types on the night of 3-4 December. A total of 29 Russian drones have been downed, 18 disappeared from radar and 1 headed toward temporarily occupied territories.

Quote: "The enemy launched an attack with an Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missile from the airspace over Russia’s Kursk Oblast, along with 50 Shahed drones and other UAVs (launch areas: Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel and Millerovo) on the night of 3-4 December 2024 (starting at 20:00 on 3 December, Kyiv time).

As of 09:00, units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the defence forces downed 29 enemy UAVs over Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv and Donetsk oblasts."

Details: In addition, 18 Russian UAVs disappeared from radar and one exited controlled airspace, heading toward temporarily occupied territory.
