Trump says he is waiting for meeting with Putin to end war in Ukraine
US President-elect Donald Trump has said he is anticipating a meeting with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin to bring an end to the war in Ukraine.

Quote: "One of the things I want to do, and quickly, and President Putin said that he wants to meet with me as soon as possible… We have to wait for this; we have to end this war. This war is horrible."
Details: Trump also claimed that "millions of soldiers" have died in the war in Ukraine.
"This war would have never happened if I was president," he reiterated.
Quote: "I will end the war in Ukraine. I will stop the chaos in the Middle East. I will prevent, I promise, World War III. We are very close to World War III."
