Ukrainian military denies claims of Russian encirclement near Uspenivka and Trudove in Donetsk Oblast

The Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group of Forces has denied information from the Deep State monitoring project regarding the encirclement of certain defence forces units near the settlements of Uspenivka and Trudove in Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "Media outlets are circulating information, based on data from the DeepState portal, about certain units of Ukraine's defence forces being encircled in the area of Uspenivka and Trudove.  

This information is not true. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made the decision to withdraw the defence forces units from the area to avoid encirclement."

Details: The Khortytsia group of forces emphasises that the military units, which had been engaged in intense defensive battles against superior Russian forces for an extended period, had carried out the necessary manoeuvres to avoid encirclement and continue to perform operational tasks along the Kurakhove – Konstantynopilske line.
