Russian troops attack Ukrainian positions with superior forces: over 190 combat clashes in 24 hours

Ukrainian and Russian forces have clashed 191 times throughout the war zone over the past 24 hours, with the Russians attempting to break through Ukrainian defences on Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Vremivka fronts 73 times.

Details: On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces conducted no offensive actions, though they actively used aircraft.

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted 10 attacks over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian forces repelled Russian assaults near the settlements of Lozova, Zahryzove and Kolisnykivka.

On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 17 attacks. They attempted to penetrate Ukrainian defences near the settlements of Tverdokhlibove, Zelenyi Hai, Terny and in Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Siversk front, the Russians conducted offensive actions near the settlements of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnokamianske. Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks in total. Russian forces actively used aircraft.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians conducted one attack near the settlement of Chasiv Yar.

On the Toretsk front, Russian forces conducted 12 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 32 Russian attempts to advance towards the settlements of Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Solone, Novyi Trud, Zelene and Novovasylivka.

On the Kurakhove front, Ukrainian defence forces repelled 18 Russian attacks. The Russians were most actively trying to advance near the settlements of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Andriivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.

On the Vremivka front, Russian forces conducted 23 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Uspenivka, Kostiantynopolske, Blahodatne, Neskuchne and Novodarivka.

On the Orikhiv front, the Russians stormed Ukrainian positions once near Novodanylivka.

On the Prydniprovske front, Ukrainian forces are making efforts to prevent the Russians from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling four Russian assaults.

Russian troops have conducted no active operations on the Huliaipole front over the past 24 hours.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.

Ukrainian defence forces are continuing operations in Russia's Kursk Oblast. Russian aircraft are continuing to strike their own territory. Over the past 24 hours, Russian aircraft carried out 6 airstrikes, dropping 7 guided aerial bombs, and Russian troops launched 472 bombardments. Ukrainian defenders repelled 60 Russian assaults.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to inflict significant losses on Russian troops in both manpower and equipment, actively undermining Russia’s offensive potential in the rear.
