Russians lost almost 1,300 of their military on 14 December

Russia lost 1,280 troops killed and wounded, 12 tanks and 26 artillery systems over the course of 14 December.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 15 December 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

  • approximately 762,440 (+1,280) military personnel;
  • 9,551 (+12) tanks;
  • 19,707 (+32) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 21,128 (+26) artillery systems;
  • 1,256 (+3) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 1,025 (+2) air defence systems;
  • 369 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 329 (+0) helicopters;
  • 20,356 (+127) tactical and strategic UAVs;
  • 2,943 (+2) cruise missiles;
  • 28 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 1 (+0) submarine;
  • 31,398 (+181) vehicles and fuel tankers;
  • 3,648 (+4) special vehicles and other equipment.

Quote from Ukraine's General Staff: "Due to the constant receipt of updated intelligence data, it became necessary to adjust some positions of total losses of the Russian forces – cruise missiles. The total figure has been adjusted, and daily losses are presented as usual."
