Power engineers restore power to more than 342,000 consumers over past 24 hours

Power engineers have restored the power supply to 342,654 consumers who were left without electricity due to hostilities over the past 24 hours.

Details: The Energy Ministry is urging consumers to use electricity sparingly.

Additionally, one of the two power lines supplying the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was severed due to Russian bombardments. The plant is now operating with a single connection to the power grid. Repair efforts by power engineers are already underway.

"For the day, electricity imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are projected to total 11,747 MWh, with a combined capacity of 1,165 MW," the press service reported.

Background: On Saturday, 30 November, rolling blackout schedules will be in effect for household consumers from 08:00 to 22:00 and for businesses until 23:00.
