The report said that emergency recovery efforts are underway around the clock. By the end of the day, power engineers aim to restore power to the affected areas in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.
The company also reported that electricity consumption was 9.7% lower compared to the same time the previous day (Thursday) as of 05:00 on 29 November. Ukrenergo attributed this decrease to widespread power-saving measures.
Mykolaivoblenergo stated that approximately 70% of Mykolaiv Oblast, including the city of Mykolaiv, was left without power. However, in areas where electricity has been restored, scheduled hourly blackouts are now being implemented [Mykolaivoblenergo is a joint-stock company engaged in the distribution, transportation and supply of electricity in the Mykolaiv Oblast – ed.].
