​​Russian Defence Ministry claims to have shot down more than 40 drones over Russia

The Russian Defence Ministry announced the downing of 42 allegedly Ukrainian drones over the Russian Federation in less than 3 hours on Tuesday evening.

Details: The Russian ministry said that its air defence system destroyed 42 drones between 21:00 and 23:55.

Quote from the Russian Ministry of Defence: "A total of 32 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Bryansk Oblast, 5 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Smolensk Oblast, 2 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Moscow Oblast and 1 UAV was shot down over the territories of Kursk, Oryol and Rostov Oblasts each."
