Andrii Sybiha, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has said at a UN Security Council meeting that Russia's recent large-scale attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure are a demonstrative response by Russian ruler Vladimir Putin to all those who have tried to negotiate peace with him.

Quote: "Russia's massive missile attack is a response to all those who called and visited Putin recently, asking for peace. He only wants war. We must increase the price of war for him."

Details: Sybiha said that Tuesday marks the 1,000th day since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, although in general, Russian aggression against Ukraine has been going on for more than 10 years.

"A thousand days of resistance to a total war is an enormous price to pay for a nation that simply wants to be free and live a normal life," Sibiga said.

Sybiha stressed that international attempts to achieve peace through dialogue have failed. Instead, Russia is using energy as a weapon, posing threats not only to Ukraine but also to global security. He called for the consolidation of international efforts and the development of new mechanisms to deter the aggressor.

The minister also drew attention to Russia's deepening military alliances with rogue states such as Iran and North Korea.

Sybiha said that Ukraine has evidence that Russia has begun using thermobaric warheads on Iranian Shahed drones to cause maximum destruction.
