Russia attacks Sumy Oblast with UAV, people might be trapped under rubble – photo, video

An explosion rocked Hlukhiv, Sumy Oblast, late on Monday. Media reports that a Russian UAV hit a residential building, causing deaths and injuries and that people may still be trapped under the rubble.

Details: An explosion rocked Hlukhiv at around 23:30. Early reports from Suspilne indicate that the town was hit by a Shahed drone.

In total, the Russian military launched 48 attacks on Sumy Oblast over the past day, 110 times using various weapons.

The Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman and Seredyna-Buda hromadas were attacked. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories - ed.]

At 01:25: Suspilne later reported that a Shahed struck a residential building in Hlukhiv.

There are fatalities and casualties as a result of the attack, and their number is being clarified.

Later, it became known that the Russian military struck Hlukhiv at around 23:20, and two explosions rocked the town. The rubble is being cleared from a multi-storey building, and people may be trapped under it.

Previously: The death toll in Sumy had risen to 12 as a result of a Russian missile attack on 17 November in the evening.

Background:
