Quote: "Poland plans to develop nuclear energy and has signed the relevant contracts, and we have vast experience in operation and specialists of the appropriate level. Therefore, in negotiations with both Polish and American partners, we stressed that Ukraine can significantly strengthen this area," Halushchenko said.

He said that cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the energy sector is "very good" and the countries have many areas of cooperation.

For example, last year, another interconnector between the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant and Rzeszów was put into operation, increasing the throughput capacity of the Ukrainian and EU energy systems.

This also concerns cooperation in the gas sector, the issue of gas interconnectors and the use of gas storage facilities, as well as future cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, the minister said.
