Russian MiG-31K jet arrives in Belarus for first time in 18 months

A Russian MiG-31K fighter jet capable of carrying Kinzhal hypersonic missiles has arrived in Belarus from Russia.

Quote: "Our information suggests that a MiG-31K fighter jet belonging to Russia's Aerospace Forces is coming in to land at Machulishchy military airfield right now.

MiG-31K fighters can carry hypersonic Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-to-air missiles and are capable of launching them at a distance of 2,000 km."

Details: The media outlet stressed that there have been no Russian MiG-31K aircraft in Belarus for the past 18 months, since 6 April 2023.
