Russian forces have lost 1,280 soldiers killed and wounded and 72 artillery systems over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 5 October 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 659,220 (+1,280) military personnel;
• 8,916 (+8) tanks;
• 17,658 (+31) armoured combat vehicles;
• 19,037 (+72) artillery systems;
• 1,216 (+4) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 970 (+5) air defence systems;
• 368 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 328 (+0) helicopters;
• 16,529 (+35) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,613 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships/boats;
• 1 (+0) submarine;
• 25,905 (+85) vehicles and tankers;
• 3,344 (+11) special vehicles and other equipment.
