Details: Syniehubov noted that an intensified evacuation from the Kupiansk district is underway. However, earlier, the Russians struck the crossings over the Oskil River, which is complicating the evacuation efforts.
Quote: "In fact, we can no longer ensure the repair of critical infrastructure on the left bank of the Oskil River in Kupiansk. The enemy is constantly destroying it."
Details: Syniehubov said a total of 9,000 people, including over 4,800 residents of the Kupiansk hromada, are due to be evacuated from settlements on the Kupiansk front. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.] The authorities are prioritising the left bank, where over 2,700 people remain.
A further 169 local residents, including 79 children, are set to be evacuated from the Borova hromada, where the security situation remains tense.
