Russia attacks Mykolaiv Oblast, causing fire at critical infrastructure facility

A fire has broken out at a critical infrastructure facility in the Bashtanka district in Mykolaiv Oblast as a result of a Russian drone attack. All the relevant services have been working at the scene.

Background:

• On the evening of 29 September, Russian forces launched a group of attack drones towards Ukraine. An air-raid warning was issued in Kyiv Oblast and several others. 
• In the morning, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that all Shahed drones flying toward Kyiv were successfully destroyed.
• Ukraine’s defence forces downed eight Russian Shahed drones over Sumy Oblast.
