Ukraine will withstand if US under Trump limits aid – US Secretary of State
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken believes that Ukraine, thanks to other allies, could withstand without US support if the next president changes the country's policy.

Details: In his speech at the Aspen Security Forum, Blinken commented directly on the possibility of Donald Trump winning the presidential election in November and its effects on US support for Ukraine.
He noted that any new US administration would have to take into account the solid bipartisan support for Ukraine in Congress.
Blinken added that any administration can certainly pursue its own policies, though he also mentioned the security agreements signed with Ukraine by over 20 countries and the European Union in addition to the United States.
"Were we to renege on that ... I suppose that's possible, but happily we've got another 20 some-odd countries that are doing the same thing," the secretary of state said.
Blinked added that Ukraine itself is on a course ensuring that it "stands on its own feet militarily, economically, democratically".

- Additionally, on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and former US President Donald Trump reportedly had a telephone conversation.
- After the conversation, Trump reiterated that he wanted to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table and "bring peace to the world".
- Zelenskyy stated that he and Trump had agreed to meet in person to discuss what steps could ensure a fair and truly lasting peace.
