President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reacted to the Russian air strike on Mykolaiv on the evening of 19 July, stating that fresh measures were required to bolster Ukrainian air defence.

Quote: "A Russian missile strike on Mykolaiv hit a children’s playground near an ordinary residential house. Currently, five people are reported injured, and three people were killed, including a child. My deepest condolences to the families and friends who have lost their loved ones."

Details: According to Zelenskyy, Russia's daily terror demonstrates that there is not enough pressure on Russia, and that such destruction of life must stop.
