Ukraine produces largest number of self-propelled artillery units per month in Europe – Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian company where Bohdana self-propelled artillery units are assembled is a record holder in Europe in terms of the number of units produced per month.

Quote: "Today, we are producing a significant number of Bohdana self-propelled artillery units per month," Zelenskyy said. 

He said that Ukrainian businesses produce the largest number of artillery systems per month compared to European plants. 

Background: 

• The Ukrainian government convinced Western allies to contract Ukrainian defence plants. The manufactured military equipment will be supplied to Ukraine’s defence forces. 
• Denmark has disclosed that its package for the Ukrainian defence sector includes the purchase of 18 Bohdana self-propelled artillery units. 
• Zelenskyy said that in April, the Ukrainian defence industry would produce 10 Bohdana self-propelled artillery units for the first time.
