Details: The leaders recalled that Denmark and the Netherlands, with the support of the United States, pledged to transfer F-16 fighters of American production to Ukraine.
Quote: "The transfer process for these F-16s is now underway, and Ukraine will be flying operational F-16s this summer. We are unable to provide additional details at this time due to operational security concerns," the statement said.
The fighter jet coalition's leaders commended Belgium and Norway for their pledge to provide additional F-16s, as well as the rest of the alliance for their support.
In early July, it was announced that the Netherlands would shortly begin supplying Ukraine with the first of 24 F-16 fighter jets.
