Quote: "It's like the dialogue about F-16s... but [how many]? You know, we are always waiting. Just like my mother used to wait for me after school, and I would always find a reason to come later. This is the same, but much more serious."
Details: Zelenskyy expressed hope that the F-16s would arrive this summer. The problem with these fighters is the number and dates of their arrival. The president stressed that Russia uses 300 aircraft in the war against Ukraine every day, while partners have made decisions on 10 or 20 aircraft.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "Even if there are 50 of them, it's nothing. They [the Russians – ed.] have 300. Because we are defending ourselves, we need 128... Until we have 128, we will not be able to match them in the skies, and it will be difficult."
