President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine needs to make sure the Russian people are aware of Putin’s current status on the world stage.

Details: According to Zelenskyy, Putin recognises that he is alone, but "not completely isolated", because there are "people who balance it out".

Quote: "How can he [Putin] overcome the current isolation? It’s no longer the G8; for many countries he is not a major player. And this includes China. I am confident that we addressed this issue.

They are all aware that he will eventually end up having to respect international law or engaging in radical actions that will still result in his isolation. As a result, I believe he currently considers the world to be divided into two sides. Because he is unable to escape this isolation, he has to do everything he can to get others to join him on his side.

And our goal is to do everything possible to be sceptical [of Putin's plans]... It would be preferable if [countries] remained sceptical, rather than siding with Russia.

Our goal is to do everything we can to make his isolation more apparent to his people. So he and others in his country will come under pressure. Then, I believe, there will be an opportunity to end the war diplomatically."
