59 Ukrainian citizens and their family members evacuated from Gaza Strip

Fifty-nine Ukrainian citizens and their family members have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip.

Quote: "Another stage of evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from the Gaza Strip took place on 7-8 March.

Fifty-nine of our citizens and their family members (15 children, 37 women and 8 men) were evacuated to Egypt through the Rafah crossing".

Details: The embassy notes that thanks to the efforts of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the diplomatic staff of Ukrainian embassies in Israel and Egypt, the evacuation was successful.

The citizens are being accommodated in a hotel in Egypt and will soon be moved to Ukraine.
