Russians continue assault on Avdiivka front, 63 combat clashes recorded at front line – General Staff report

Over the course of the day, 63 combat clashes were recorded at the front line, with the Russians inflicting 5 missile strikes and 44 airstrikes, as well as carrying out 68 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems.

Quote: "During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted eight clusters of personnel and one ground control station of the enemy’s UAVs. In addition, Ukraine’s air defence downed one Kh-59 guided aircraft missile.

Details: On the Kupiansk front, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders six times near the village of Synkivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled one attack on Terny, Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to break through Ukrainian defences.

On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks near the village of Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians tried to improve their tactical position.

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 attacks in the vicinity of Novoselivka, Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivka front, Ukraine’s Armed Forces continue to restrain the Russians in Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Prechystivka and Urozhaine in Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians supported by aircraft tried to breach Ukrainian defences 16 times.

On the Orikhiv front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, the Russians did not abandon their attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions on the left (east) bank of the Dnipro River, despite significant losses. During the day they carried out two unsuccessful assault actions.
