Queues at border with three EU countries arise due to blockade by Polish farmers
Polish farmers continue to block the movement of Ukrainian freight transport at five checkpoints, causing queues of lorries at Ukraine’s borders with Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

Quote: "As of now, Polish farmers continue to block five crossing points; these are the Yahodyn, Ustyluh, Uhryniv, Rava-Ruska and Shehyni checkpoints. And while they still allow a certain number of lorries to cross into Ukraine (the least at Yahodyn and Shehyni checkpoints), they do not allow lorries to cross into Poland at all.
In fact, the movement of lorries from Ukraine to Poland at these five checkpoints is now completely blocked."
Details: Demchenko said that there are approximately 1,050 lorries queuing in Poland, most of them at the Rava-Ruska and Yahodyn checkpoints. Lorry traffic through the Krakivets checkpoint is not currently blocked.
In a comment to Ukrainska Pravda, Demchenko added that due to the blockade in Poland, queues in other directions have also increased. For example, 500 lorries are queuing in the direction of the Uzhhorod checkpoint from Slovakia, more than 1,000 lorries are queuing at the Tysa checkpoint from Hungary, and 500 and 350 lorries are queuing at the Diakove and Porubne checkpoints on the border with Romania, respectively.
The volume of lorry traffic using these checkpoints is unsurprisingly high, straining their capacity.
Bus and car traffic is not blocked at any checkpoint.
