Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has promoted Vasyl Maliuk, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), to the rank of lieutenant general and his deputy, Oleksandr Poklad, to the rank of major general.

Details: Decree No. 3/2024 promoted Maliuk, formerly a major general, to the rank of lieutenant general.

Decree No. 4/2024 promoted Poklad, formerly a brigadier general, to the rank of major general.
