Svitolina's rival for the final was 71st-ranked Xiyu Wang of China. It was the first time the tennis players had met in a head-to-head match.

The game lasted 2 hours and 11 minutes. Svitolina served six aces, won 65% of points on the first serve and converted four break points out of ten.

Another Ukrainian, Liudmyla Kichenok, won her first WTA doubles tournament of the new season. The Ukrainian triumphed in Brisbane, Australia, in a duet with Latvia's Jeļena Ostapenko.

This is her first doubles title since October 2022, when she won the WTA 250 tournament in Tallinn with her sister Nadiia.
