Germany provides Ukraine with new aid package containing ammunition and drones

The German government has pledged another military aid package to Ukraine, which includes ammunition and reconnaissance drones.

Details: The new package includes the following:
- 26,000 155-mm artillery rounds
- 1 LUNA NG reconnaissance system
- 10 VECTOR reconnaissance drones with spare parts
- 6 border patrol vehicles
- 8 Zetros trucks
- 100,000 first aid kits and medical supplies
- 70 40-mm automatic grenade launchers
Background: During his visit to Kyiv, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced a new military aid package worth €1.3 billion. The package includes, among other things, four additional IRIS-T-SLM air defence systems, as well as 20,000 155-mm artillery rounds and anti-tank weapons.
Pistorius recently rejected accusations that Germany is sending insufficient assistance to Ukraine, which is defending itself against Russia.
