Quote: "The last to agree to evacuate was a family with two school-aged children. They did not go to school itself, as it was destroyed by the Russians. The parents said they were used to living in a war zone, so the police had to make a lot of effort to convince the family to leave.
Now, under the protection of armour[ed vehicles] and the Angels, the family has reached a safe place. They will live in a safer region of the country. The children will go to school."
Details: Klymenko emphasised that police officers deliver humanitarian aid to families staying in frontline villages every day and persuade them to leave. In this way, the White Angels have rescued 126 children in Donetsk Oblast.
The rescue of children from other frontline settlements in Donetsk Oblast, where mandatory evacuation has been announced, continues. As of 8 November, 128 children still need to be evacuated.
