Two high-voltage transmission lines restored in Kyiv after drone attack

Two main high-voltage transmission lines, damaged during the Russian night attack on 24-25 November, have already resumed operation. There is currently no threat of power outages.

Details: Kudrytskyi said that due to this, certain power supply restrictions could be introduced while these lines were being repaired.

The head of Ukrenergo emphasised that dispatchers had handled the situation, and repair crews had quickly restored important lines and did not cause discomfort to people on their day off.

Background: On the night of 24-25 November, the Russians launched a record number of attack UAVs at Ukraine – 75 Shahed kamikaze drones, 74 of which were shot down.’
