Russians actively attack on 3 fronts – General Staff report
The Russians have kept trying to surround Avdiivka and Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled 17 attacks on the Avdiivka front. They also repelled 12 Russian attacks on the Bakhmut front, and 20 Russian assaults on the Marinka front.

Details: The military said over 60 combat clashes took place during the past 24 hours. In total, Russian forces launched 8 missile strikes and 59 air strikes and carried out 49 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Russian forces launched airstrikes on Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.
Over 140 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, Russian forces conducted assault operations near the settlements of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight attacks.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful assault operations near the settlements of Nadiia and Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 Russian attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast. Moreover, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, inflicting losses on the Russians in manpower and equipment and consolidating their positions.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front, Russian forces keep trying to surround Avdiivka, but Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the defence, inflicting significant losses on the Russians. The Russians’ offensive operations south of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Tonenke, Vodiane and to the east of Pervomaiske were unsuccessful. Here, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled 17 attacks.
On the Marinka front, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful assaults near Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 attacks.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attacks near the settlement of Staromaiorske in Donetsk Oblast.
Russian forces did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations on the Zaporizhzhia front.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defence Forces are continuing to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol front, inflicting losses in military personnel and equipment on the Russian occupying forces and exhausting them along the entire frontline.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, Ukrainian defenders are conducting counter-battery operations, striking the Russian rear.
The Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 attacks on the areas where Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. In addition, Ukrainian air defence destroyed a Su-25 attack aircraft, 2 Shahed-136/131 attack drones, 17 reconnaissance UAVs, and one Kh-59 guided air missile.
Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck 6 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, a command post, 17 artillery systems on firing positions, 3 air defence systems and an oil and lubricant storage point belonging to the Russians.
