Russians target 7 border areas of Sumy Oblast

The Russian army carried out 19 attacks on border territories and settlements of Sumy Oblast over the course of 1 November .

Quote: "101 strikes were recorded [during the day - ed. Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Miropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyna Buda, Druzhkivka hromadas were attacked" [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]. 

Details:

• The Russian forces carried out mortar attacks on Yunakivka hromada (three strikes).
• Mortar attacks (15 strikes) were also carried out on Seredyna Buda hromada from the territory of the Russian Federation.
• In Druzhkivka hromada, attacks with unguided missiles from a fighter jet (two strikes) and mortar attacks (eight strikes) were recorded. 
• The Russians targeted Velyka Pysarivka hromada with artillery (four strikes) and mortars (20 strikes).
• In Krasnopillia hromada, mortar attacks (23 strikes) were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation.
• In Bilopillia hromada, there were artillery shelling (10 strikes) and mortar attacks (six strikes).
• In Miropillia hromada, 10 explosives were dropped by the Russian forces.
