Ukraine's first underground school to be built in Kharkiv

Kharkiv is planning to build Ukraine's first underground school, where children will be able to study even during missile attacks.

Quote: "We are planning to build the first underground school in Ukraine that will meet the most modern regulatory requirements for protective structures.

Such a shelter will allow thousands of Kharkiv children to continue their safe offline education even during missile threats."

Background: Since September 2023, Kharkiv has had classrooms for teaching children in the metro. There are enough classrooms underground to teach 60 classes simultaneously.
