Zelenskyy visits combat brigades leading offensive near Bakhmut

As part of his working visit to Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited combat brigades engaged in offensive operations on the Bakhmut front.

Details: In particular, Zelenskyy visited the 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigade Kholodnyi Yar, the 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade and the 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade.

The President met with Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Commander of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces and heard reports on the operational situation in the area of responsibility of the Lyman and Soledar Joint Task Forces.

It is noted that Zelenskyy discussed in detail the problematic issues and needs of the units with the battalion commanders. In particular, they discussed provision of artillery shells, missiles for air defence systems at the front, evacuation vehicles and electronic warfare equipment.

Zelenskyy also decorated soldiers of the units with the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, For Courage and the Order of Princess Olha.
