Explosions occur in Zaporizhzhia

Explosions rocked the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district on the night of 6 August.

Details: At around 02:25, Suspilne reported that explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district.

Prior to that, the Ukrainian Air Force urged Zaporizhzhia residents to take shelter.

An air-raid warning was issued in the oblast.

Background: On the night of 5-6 August, multiple explosions occurred in Khmelnytskyi and Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and air defence forces were responding to the threat.
