Details: Russian users of the website can check whether there is personal information of their relatives in this database.
The project Poter.NET of Ukraine’s Internal Ministry was implemented jointly with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, mainly with the coordinating staff for treating prisoners of war (the Hochu Zhit (I Want to Live) project) and the National Police of Ukraine.
The goal of the project is counteracting the Kremlin narratives by providing objective information about Russian losses in the war.
Reportedly, since the launch of Poter.NET, the number of Russian soldiers who let themselves be taken captive has significantly increased.
