One-hour-long air-raid warning issued throughout Ukraine

An air-raid warning has been issued throughout Ukraine due to the takeoff of MiG-31K fighter jets from the Savasleyka airfield in Russia on the afternoon of 24 August, the Ukrainian Independence Day; the warning lasted for about an hour.

Quote: "There is a missile threat throughout Ukraine! A MiG-31K took off from the Savasleyka airfield in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Do not ignore the air-raid warning!"

Details: The Air Force reported about the missile threat on 15:26, 24 August.

At 16:24, the air-raid warning started to cease throughout the country.
