Details: Ukrainian border guards received two Role 2 modules and four Role 1 modules. Representatives of the Netherlands also trained the staff of the State Border Guard Service's medical units on the deployment and use of these mobile hospitals.

According to the department, the use of these hospitals allows the State Border Guard Service to build a system of medical evacuation support in line with the standards of NATO medical services.

"We can set up a full-fledged hospital in the field with its own operating room, pre-operative room, intensive care unit, laboratory, sterilisation room, reception and sorting department, everything is provided, even sanitary facilities," commented Colonel Oleh Havrashenko of the State Border Guard Service's medical service.

Havrashenko stressed that the mobile hospitals provided by the Netherlands allow for faster medical care for the wounded, faster stabilisation and, consequently, shorter treatment times and a speedy recovery of the servicemen.
