Quote from Syrskyi: "The Defence Forces are continuing to perform tasks on the eastern front. The situation is complicated but under control. The enemy is transferring its reserves to the Bakhmut front, trying to stop our advance."
Details: Syrskyi also added that the main forces of the Russians are currently concentrated on the Kupiansk front, where Ukrainian soldiers are holding the line.
Quote: "We continue to fight. We will win," the commander of the Ground Forces emphasised.
Background:
- Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) noted that by intensifying operations on the Kupiansk front, the Russians are trying to draw the reserves of Ukraine's Defence Forces away from critical areas of the front; however, experts believe that the invaders will not be able to make an operationally significant breakthrough.
