We believe that China is sovereign country, it will not be Russia's accomplice – Ukraine's Defence Council Secretary

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, hopes that China will not be an accomplice of Russia.

Quote: "..of course, there is a great hope among Russians for great China, that China will help Russia.

We don't understand why China should help Russia or why this thing is needed. Because China is a great country, a country that has its own path of development. And whether there will be a combination of these things, you need to understand how the world should react to it.

And I emphasise once again that we believe that China is a sovereign country and it will not be an accomplice of Russia. Because these countries start participating in these things together with Russia, they are accomplices in the murder of civilians. Putin has killed 500 of our children since 24 February, during this hot phase of the war. Unfortunately, we have lost [children] ‘thanks’ to this modern Hitler, a modern fascist who gave the order to kill our children."

Details: The National Security and Defence Council secretary warned that if someone wants to be an accomplice in this process, they should bear in mind that sooner or later they will have to bear responsibility for all this.
